DEAN DE GUZMAN PARTICIPATES IN UNESCO-BANGKOK SPONSORED REGIONAL ICT SEMINAR IN GUANGZHOU, CHINA

Dean Allan de Guzman participated in a three-day regional seminar in China by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on teacher training and technology.

The regional seminar by UNESCO’s Resource Distribution and Training Centre (RDTC) was staged at the South China Normal University in Guangzhou.

With the theme “Teacher Training to Promote Safe, Effective and Responsible Use of ICT (SERU-ICT)”, a total of 24 UNESCRO RDTCs representatives composed of deans of Education and Education Technology directors from 12 Asian countries were invited to share experiences and practices relative to Teacher Training for Media and Information Literacy (MIL), Open Educational Resources (OER) and Teachers’ Professional Learning Community (PLC).
